Sherriffs Cranetrucks have designed and engineered the Windolift.
The vision was to find a safer solution to the high-risk task for residential carpenters manually lifting 1st floor windows and frames through stairwell voids.
With the introduction of 7-star ratings to residential builds in Victoria many homes are now required to have double glazed windows, effectively increasing the weight on each window.
The expectation that carpenters and contractors are to lift these by hand is of significant risk to their safety.
This is where the Windolift makes light work of the task. Given that our frames have been manufactured into a modular design, allows us to carry the frames permanently on our vehicles, enabling the flexibility and short turn around times for our vehicles to attend site, and keeps costs low.
The frames can hold up to eight windows in one lift which significantly reduces the time to complete the task, but of course most of all reduces the safety risk.
